Charnwood C4 Wood Burning Fireplace
The Charnwood C4 is a compact wood burning fireplace designed for smaller rooms and living spaces. Its classic styling, large viewing window and choice of finishes make the C4 suitable for both contemporary and traditional South African interiors.
As the smallest model in Charnwood’s C-Series, the C4 combines a compact footprint with a 5 kW nominal heat output and a maximum output of 5.5 kW. The C Four’s diminutive proportions make it a popular choice for smaller spaces and it is our best selling 5KW Charnwood fireplace in South Africa.
The C4 wood burning fireplace comes with plenty of optional extras to give you the look to suit your space. For example, some of the options available include a store stand option (as featured in the main picture), high legs and 8 colours. The heat proof wooden handle also gives the C range of stoves from Charnwood a classic and unique appeal. The C Four is available in a choice of 8 colours making it a versatile stove to suit your room décor.
The C4 is also available in a ‘Clear Skies’ approved Eco-Design ready version which means it is playing a part to reduce particulate emissions produced by solid fuel heating appliances.
5 kW Wood Burning Stove
The Charnwood C4 has a 4.9 kW rated output, with a heat output range of 2–5.5 kW.
Suitable for spaces of up to approximately 135 m³.
Designed primarily as a wood burning stove and accepts logs up to approximately 282 mm (11 inches) according to Charnwood’s current specification.
Compact Design for Smaller Spaces
The C4 has a compact footprint of approximately 560 mm wide × 420 mm deep × 370 mm high.
Its smaller proportions make it a practical option where space is limited, without compromising the visual appeal of a freestanding wood burning stove.
The C4 freestanding wood burning fireplace can also be supplied with different stand options, allowing the installation height and appearance to be adapted to the room.
Large Fire-Viewing Window
Despite its compact size, the Charnwood C4 features a large picture window that provides a clear view of the flames.
The stove uses ceramic glass and Cleanburn Airwash Technology to help maintain a clearer view of the fire while burning.
A heat-resistant wooden handle adds a traditional detail to the C-Series design.
Charnwood C4 Air Management
The C4 uses Charnwood’s Quattroflow Air Management System and a single air control.
An external air intake option is also available.
Designed to provide controlled combustion while making operation straightforward for everyday wood burning.
Eco-Design Wood Burning Stove
The current C-Four is available with Charnwood’s BLU technology and is Eco-Design 2022 ready.
It also features Cleanburn Airwash Technology and a drop-down throat plate, which allows the chimney to be swept through the stove.
