Description
Kratki Titan Glass Freestanding Wood Fireplace
The Kratki Titan Glass is a modern freestanding wood-burning fireplace with a distinctive rectangular design and large glass viewing area.
Its blackened glass panels above and below the door add to its contemporary appearance, while the large glass door provides a clear view of the flames.
The Titan Glass has an 11kW nominal heat output and a heating range of 8–14kW. Its thermal efficiency is 80%, according to Kratki’s current manufacturer specification.
Modern Freestanding Fireplace
The Titan Glass is designed as a freestanding fireplace, giving you flexibility when planning its position within your home.
Its rectangular steel body has a clean, modern appearance that works well in contemporary interiors. The combination of black steel and glass makes the fireplace a strong focal point without requiring a built-in installation.
The Titan Glass measures approximately 53cm wide, 41.9cm deep and 113.7cm high, making it a relatively compact freestanding fireplace for its heat output.
11kW Nominal Heat Output
The Kratki Titan Glass has an 11kW nominal heat output, with a manufacturer heating range of 8–14kW.
The nominal output is the main figure used to describe the fireplace’s rated heating performance, while the 14kW figure represents the upper end of its specified heating range.
The Titan Glass has a heating capacity of approximately 220–325m³. Actual heating performance will depend on factors such as room size, insulation, ceiling height and the construction of the building.
Large Glass Door
One of the main features of the Titan Glass is its large glass door, which provides a wide view of the flames while the fireplace is operating.
Kratki specifies a self-closing door with a left-side opening. The fireplace also uses an air-wash system to help reduce soot deposits on the glass during burning.
The blackened glass panels positioned above and below the door add a distinctive design element to the fireplace.
Heat-Intensifying Ceramic Lining
The Titan Glass combustion chamber is lined with Kratki’s heat-intensifying ceramics.
The ceramic lining helps maintain high temperatures within the firebox and supports the combustion process. Kratki uses these ceramic internals throughout its steel wood-burning fireplace range.
Efficient Closed-Combustion Fireplace
The Titan Glass is a closed-combustion wood fireplace. Designed to use the heat produced by burning wood effectively.
Its combustion system uses primary, secondary and tertiary combustion. The fireplace combines natural convection and radiant heating to distribute heat into the room.
For best performance, use properly seasoned firewood suitable for a closed-combustion fireplace.
External Air Supply
The current Kratki manufacturer specification lists a 100mm air intake for the Titan Glass.
This allows for a direct external air connection where the installation design and building requirements call for one. The air supply arrangement should be planned as part of the complete fireplace installation.
Top or Rear Flue Connection
The Titan Glass provides flexibility with its flue arrangement, allowing for top or rear flue exit.
The manufacturer specifies a 150mm flue outlet. The correct flue configuration should be determined during installation according to the fireplace, building and flue requirements.
