Thermorossi Chicca Pellet Fireplace
The Thermorossi Chicca is a compact pellet Fireplace with a rated output of 2.1–7.2kW and a specified heatable area of up to 65m². Its compact height makes it suitable for installations where available vertical space is limited, including attics and areas beneath stairs. Thermorossi also identifies the Chicca Pellet fireplace as a solution for restoring an existing fireplace.
The Chicca freestanding Pellet fireplace features a cast-iron top and cast-iron upper cover with sliding access for pellet loading. Its design incorporates a THERMOCORE® shell-and-tube heat exchanger, a patented Pelletpower® self-cleaning burner and a raised base designed to facilitate cleaning.
Heating Performance
The Chicca has a rated power range of 2.1–7.2kW, with power to the hearth of 2.3–7.9kW. Thermorossi specifies a maximum efficiency of 91.6% and an A+ energy rating. Pellet consumption is rated at 0.5–1.6kg per hour, with a pellet hopper capacity of 15kg.
The stove provides room ventilation and primary air can be supplied from outside. It is not equipped with warm-air ducting.
Pelletpower® Self-Cleaning Burner
The Chicca incorporates Thermorossi’s patented Pelletpower® self-cleaning burner. The system removes ash from the sides into a collection drawer and is designed to maintain consistent burner efficiency during operation. Thermorossi states that the burner can operate for up to 500 hours NON-STOP.
The Advanced Cleaning system incorporates an Incoloy 800HT alloy component that can be inspected and removed by the user, providing access for cleaning and maintenance.
Controls & Features
The Chicca is equipped with a programmable control screen and weekly programming with up to three daily start times. It also includes Thermorossi’s Smart Info function and is prepared for Wi-Fi technology. Optional iControl and Room Control accessories are available.
The appliance has a safety thermostat and over-pressure valve. The flue gas outlet has an 80mm diameter.
