Description

The Plamen Dora 10 Black Cast Iron Fireplace is finished with a sleek steel surround in either black or green – adding a touch of timeless, yet traditional design to any space. Despite its traditional appearance, the Dora has an impressive efficiency rating of 82% and an A+ energy class rating. Designed for small and medium-sized rooms. The Dora gives off 9 kW of heat and is sure to keep you warm all winter!

The Plamen Dora 8 Black Cast Iron Fireplace is a closed-combustion, modern, compact, wood burning fireplace. Plamen built to be tough and forge their fireplaces from a thick mould of high-quality cast iron. This gives them the strength and durability to withstand many winters. These Cast iron fireplaces are strong and durable. Cast iron retains heat and will continue to radiate heat even after the fire has gone out.

The Plamen stoves offer excellent radiant heating for your home. They are efficient, closed-combustion fireplaces with the majority of the heat being released into the room rather than being wasted up the chimney.

The Plamen wood-burning fireplaces offer a highly effective, yet economical heating solution. Plamen uses only high quality, heat-resistant glass to improve the safety, performance and lifespan of the fireplaces. The specialised air-wash glass cleaning system greatly reduces the soot deposits on the glass door compared to other fireplaces on the market. When cleaning your fireplace glass we recommend you use the Ribitech Glass Cleaning spray.

Additionally each Plamen fireplace comes standard with a heat protective glove and wood stoker.

Plamen Fireplaces have a 2 year warranty.

Lighting your fireplace for the first time

When lighting your new fireplace for the first time, choose a day when you can open your windows and doors wide.
During the first fire, excess oils and paint residues from the manufacturing process burn off. This can create a hazy smoke and a noticeable smell in the room. This is completely normal and is simply part of the initial curing process. Keep the room well ventilated for a few hours, and the haze will clear.
Please see Plamen guidelines for further information.
