The Kratki Thor 8 View is a modern 3-sided freestanding wood-burning fireplace designed to give you a wide view of the flames from multiple angles.
Its three-sided glass design makes the fire a strong focal point in the room, while the minimalist steel body gives the fireplace a clean, contemporary appearance.

3-Sided Fireplace with a Wide Fire View
The main feature of the Kratki Thor 8 View is its three-sided glass design.
Unlike a conventional front-facing fireplace, the glass allows the flames to be enjoyed from multiple viewpoints. This makes the Thor 8 View particularly suitable for open-plan living areas and contemporary interiors.
The tall firebox gives the flames a strong visual presence, while the freestanding design allows the fireplace to remain an architectural feature within the room.
10kW Wood-Burning Fireplace
The Thor 8 View has a 10kW heat output. Designed to burn wood.
This 3-sided wood burning fireplace has a heating capacity of approximately 160–250m³. The actual heating performance will depend on factors such as room size, insulation, ceiling height and the construction of the building.
With an efficiency rating of 83%, the Thor 8 View is designed to make effective use of the heat generated during wood combustion.
Large Three-Sided Glass Door
The three-sided glass construction provides a much broader view of the fire than a standard single-front fireplace.
Kratki uses heat-resistant glass together with an air-wash system designed to help keep the viewing area clearer while the fireplace is operating.
The large glass surfaces also allow the fire to become a feature from different positions within the room.
Heat-Intensifying Ceramic Lining
The combustion chamber is lined with Kratki’s heat-intensifying ceramic material.
The ceramic lining helps maintain high temperatures within the firebox and supports the combustion process. These unique heat intensifying ceramics increase the heat output of the unit and give the flames their attractive slow-burning effect. The ceramic lining provide protection for the steel structure of the fireplace.
Efficient Closed-Combustion Fireplace
The Thor 8 View is a closed-combustion wood fireplace with primary, secondary and tertiary combustion.
A single air-control lever is used to control the combustion air. The fireplace also has a double-deflector system designed to support combustion efficiency and heat retention.
For best results, use properly seasoned firewood suitable for a closed-combustion fireplace.
Top or Rear Flue Connection
The Thor 8 View allows for either a top or rear flue connection, giving some flexibility when planning the installation.
The flue diameter is 150mm. The built-in 100mm external air inlet allows a direct fresh-air system to be installed where the building and installation design require it.
The final flue and air-supply arrangement must be planned according to the Kratki’s installation requirements.
Strong Steel Construction
The Thor 8 View has a thick steel construction designed for high-temperature operation.
Kratki states that the fireplace body is precision welded and manufactured using laser cutting and CNC bending technology. The top section is made from 5mm-thick steel.
This Kratki 3-sided fireplace also features a cast-iron grate, removable ash box and adjustable feet for levelling the unit.
