Description
Charnwood Aire 7 Wood Burning Stove with Store Stand
The Charnwood Aire 7 is a British-made wood burning stove designed for larger rooms and open-plan living areas. Its large picture window provides an impressive view of the fire, while the Store Stand creates a taller freestanding design.
With a 7 kW rated output and a 5–11 kW output range, the Aire 7 is suited to spaces requiring a higher heat output. It combines clean, modern styling with Charnwood’s established combustion technology.
The Charnwood Aire 7 upsizes the Aire 5 at the top of the current Aire range. This 11KW (max output) Charnwood fireplace should keep you comfortable in a space that is up to 275 cubic metres in volume.
Like the other products in the Aire range, the Aire 7 is a dedicated ‘wood-burner’ only. This commitment to sustainable fuel sources shows Charnwood’s awareness of our need to move away from fossil fuels.
It is no surprise that the Aire 7 comes Eco-Design ready as standard. During tests, the results achieved by the Aire 7 were nearly half the current Eco-Design requirements under the all-important ’emissions’ categories which is very impressive for a stove this size.
The Aire 7 comes in styles. The Low Stand option and the Store Stand option. Both options are available in a choice of 8 Charnwood colours. The Aire also features easy to control single button air in-take control and cool to the touch door handle.
7 kW Wood Burning Stove
The Charnwood Aire 7 delivers a 7 kW nominal heat output, with a rated range of 5–11 kW.
The larger output makes it suitable for larger rooms and open-plan areas. The stove burns wood logs and accepts logs up to 390 mm (15 inches) long.
With an 82% net efficiency, the Aire 7 is designed to make effective use of the heat produced from wood burning.
Large Picture Window
One of the defining features of the Aire 7 is its large ceramic glass window. The picture window provides a wide view of the flames and makes the fire a strong focal point within the room.
Charnwood lists the Aire 7’s glass window at approximately 438 × 348 mm.
The stove incorporates Cleanburn Airwash Technology, helping to keep the glass clearer while the fire is burning.
Aire 7 Store Stand
The Store Stand raises the stove from floor level while maintaining the clean, freestanding appearance of the Aire range.
Measures:
- 535 mm wide
- 428 mm deep
- 755 mm high
- 135 kg
The Store Stand configuration is also available in Charnwood’s range of colour options.
Clean and Controlled Wood Burning
The Aire 7 incorporates Charnwood’s BLU burning technology, alongside its Quattroflow Air Management System and Cleanburn Airwash Technology.
Other features include:
- SIA Eco Design Ready
- Quattroflow Air Management System
- Cleanburn Airwash Technology
- Cool-to-touch handle
- Drop-down throat plate
- Sliding firebed for easier ash removal
- Ceramic glass
- Plate steel and cast iron construction
The drop-down throat plate also allows the chimney to be swept through the stove.
Flexible Installation Options
The Aire 7 has a 150 mm (6 inch) top or rear flue outlet. Charnwood also offers a vertical rear flue adaptor as an option.
The Aire 7 can be supplied with either a Low Stand or Store Stand, with additional customisation options including a flue boiler and a choice of eight colours.
Installation should always follow the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable local installation regulations.
