Kratki NBC 15 3-Sided Wood Fireplace
The Kratki NBC 15 is a large, built-in 3-sided wood-burning fireplace designed to provide a wide view of the fire from multiple angles. With a 1m-wide firebox and generous glass panels, it creates a strong visual focal point in contemporary living spaces.
Its nominal heat output is 15kW, with a heating range of 7–21kW. The fireplace has a thermal efficiency of 78%. Designed for burning seasoned wood.
3-Sided Fireplace for a Wide Fire View
The NBC 15 features three-sided glazing, allowing the flames to be viewed from the front and both sides. This makes it particularly suited to large living areas, open-plan interiors and fireplace installations where the fire needs to be visible from more than one position.
The approximately 1m-wide design gives the fire a broad presence within the room while maintaining the clean appearance of a built-in fireplace.
Rise-and-Fall Glass Door
The NBC 15 has a smooth rise-and-fall glass door, also known as a guillotine door. The door can be lifted to provide access when loading wood, while the side-opening function on the manufacturer configuration makes cleaning the glass easier.
The heat-resistant glass is designed to withstand temperatures of up to 660°C. An air-wash system helps direct air across the glass to reduce soot and keep the fire view clearer during operation.
15kW Nominal Heat Output
The Kratki NBC 15 has a 15kW nominal heat output and a heating range of 7–21kW. This gives the fireplace flexibility across different firing conditions while providing substantial heat for larger spaces.

Heat-Intensifying Ceramic Lining
The combustion chamber is lined with Kratki’s heat-intensifying ceramic material. This helps maintain a high temperature inside the firebox and supports efficient combustion.
The Kratki built-in fireplace also features a ceramic base that provides additional space for wood coals and helps with fire management.
Efficient Wood Combustion
The NBC 15 uses primary, secondary and tertiary combustion to control airflow and support the combustion process. It also has a direct external air connection with a 125mm air inlet, allowing combustion air to be supplied from outside the room where the installation allows for it.
Designed for closed-combustion operation and has an A energy efficiency class.
Strong Steel Construction
The NBC 15 is manufactured from steel and features a robust construction designed for high-temperature operation. Kratki also uses precision laser cutting and CNC bending in the manufacturing process.
This Kratki 3-sided wood-burning fireplace has a reversible cast-iron top flue spigot, providing flexibility for the flue connection depending on the installation requirements.
