Description

Kratki Inga 3-Sided Freestanding Wood Fireplace

The Kratki Inga is a modern 3-sided freestanding wood-burning fireplace designed to give you a wider view of the flames.

Its three-sided glazing allows the fire to be seen from multiple angles, while the tall steel body creates a strong vertical feature in the room.

The Inga has an 8kW nominal heat output, with a 5–11kW heating range and 79.6% thermal efficiency.

Its rectangular steel body and large glass windows offer a striking view of the flames, while advanced combustion technology ensures efficient heating and low emissions. Powerful and high-performing, this wood-burning fireplace is ideal for contemporary spaces that value both style and comfort.

3-Sided Fireplace with a Wide View of the Fire

The main feature of the Kratki Inga is its three-sided view of the fire.

Glass on the front and sides allows the flames to be enjoyed from different positions within the room. This gives the Inga a stronger visual presence than a conventional front-facing freestanding fireplace.

Its expansive 3 sided glass door, framed with a sleek blackened edge design, creates a bold and modern aesthetic. The refined handle with a click-shut mechanism adds to the high-end feel.

The three-sided design makes the Inga particularly suited to contemporary interiors where the fireplace is intended to be both a source of heat and a feature.

8kW Wood-Burning Fireplace

The Kratki Inga has an 8kW nominal heat output and a 5–11kW heating range. Its thermal efficiency is 79.6%.
The actual heating performance will depend on factors such as room size, insulation, ceiling height, layout and the construction of the building.

Double Side Glazing

The Inga uses double glazing on the sides of the fireplace.
Double side glazing improves the tightness of the combustion chamber and reduces heat radiation, supporting the wood-burning process.
The black frame around the glass also helps emphasise the view of the flames.

TERMOTEC Combustion Chamber Lining

The combustion chamber is lined with TERMOTEC heat-accumulating material.
TERMOTEC lining supports more efficient combustion and helps maintain the temperature inside the combustion chamber for longer.
The ceramic lining reduces soot buildup inside the flue. It also makes the fireplace easier to operate.
The ceramics protect the steel firebox from intense heat. This protection extends the fireplace’s lifespan
The deeper combustion chamber also provides additional space for loading wood.

Clean Glass System

The Inga features a clean-glass system that uses an air curtain to help keep the glass clearer during operation.
The fireplace uses heat-resistant ceramic glass, with Kratki specifying resistance to temperatures of up to 660°C.
Using properly seasoned firewood and operating the fireplace correctly also helps maintain clean and efficient combustion.
Clean your Kratki – Inga Fireplace glass with the Kratki glass cleaning spray.

Click-Clack Door Closing System

The Inga features Kratki’s Click-Clack door-closing system.
The system is designed to provide secure closing of the combustion chamber. The fireplace has a black steel handle that complements its modern appearance.
A solid ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip. Its modern design complements the fireplace.
The smooth click-latch mechanism closes the door securely. It creates a reliable seal during operation

Top or Rear Flue Connection

The Kratki Inga can be configured with the flue outlet from either the top or the rear.
The manufacturer specifies a 150mm flue outlet. The fireplace also has a 125mm air intake, allowing it to be connected to an external air supply where required by the installation.
The final flue and combustion-air arrangement must be planned according to Kratki’s installation requirements.

Efficient Closed-Combustion Wood Fireplace

The Inga is designed for closed-combustion wood burning.
Its combustion system incorporates controlled air supply and deflector technology to support efficient combustion. Kratki specifies primary and secondary combustion as part of the fireplace’s design.
The Inga is also certified to meet Ecodesign requirements, is designed for recuperation and complies with BImSchV 2.

Advanced Multi-Stage Combustion

This wood-burning fireplace features primary, secondary, and tertiary combustion. A single air control lever manages every combustion stage.
You can easily control the fire while maintaining excellent combustion efficiency.

Double Deflector System

A double deflector system improves airflow inside the firebox. It increases combustion efficiency and retains more heat.
The system delivers greater warmth while reducing firewood consumption.

Heavy-Duty Steel Construction

Kratki manufactures the fireplace body from thick, high-quality steel. The steel withstands continuous high temperatures.
Skilled technicians precision weld every fireplace in a shielded noble gas environment. This process creates exceptional strength and airtight performance.
Advanced laser-cutting and CNC bending technology ensure precise manufacturing. Every component fits accurately for long-lasting durability.

Reinforced 5 mm Steel Top

Kratki builds the top section from 5 mm thick steel. The reinforced design delivers outstanding strength and heat resistance.
The fireplace performs reliably, even during demanding use.

Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Grate

Kratki engineers its signature fireplace grate from thick cast iron. Reinforced ribbing and multiple bends maximise strength.
The robust grate supports long-lasting performance and reliable combustion.

Removable Ash Box

The removable ash box makes routine cleaning quick and simple. You can remove ash with minimal effort.
Regular maintenance takes less time.

External Fresh Air Intake

Install the direct fresh air system for improved combustion performance. The fireplace draws combustion air directly from outside.
