Charnwood Arc 5 Wood Burning Fireplace
The Charnwood Arc 5 is a contemporary fireplace with clean, understated styling and a strong view of the fire.
Designed for both modern and traditional interiors, the Arc 5 combines a simple exterior with Charnwood’s advanced combustion system.
It produces 5 kW of heat, with an output range of 2–7 kW. The Arc 5 is available with either a Low Stand or Store Stand. The Charnwood Arc 5 fireplace ‘low stand’ offers exceptional control and ease of use. This is because of the simple air control mechanism and the ‘cool to the touch’ door handle.
The Arc 5 is slender in it’s styling. This feature works well in tight spaces and corners. Additionally, the Arc features heat shields which come as standard. This design detail allows for closer proximity to combustible materials or items that are more sensitive to heat damage such as glass.

When burning wood, the Arc 5 has a net efficiency of 81%. It accepts logs up to 290 mm (11.5 inches) long.

Arc 5 Low Stand or Store Stand
The Charnwood Arc 5 is available in two stand configurations.
The Low Stand gives the stove a lower, more compact appearance. The Store Stand raises the stove and provides an integrated area beneath it.
The Arc 5 Store Stand weighs approximately 150 kg, while the Low Stand version weighs approximately 130 kg.
The Store Stand version is approximately 453 mm wide, with the technical drawing showing a height of approximately 933 mm.
Flexible Flue Options
The Arc 5 has a 125 mm (5 inch) flue outlet, with top or rear flue connection options.
A vertical rear flue adaptor is available as a customisation option. Charnwood also lists a rear heatshield and optional drawer among the available options.
Installation must follow the manufacturer’s requirements and applicable South African installation regulations.
